All of our designs are licensed for non-commercial home embroidery use on one computer and are subject to our standard licensing terms and conditions.

Our designs are not “stock” designs.

REQUIRED HOOP SIZE:

Many of our machine embroidery designs are made to be stitched on machines with large, 5" x 7" hoops.  BEFORE ORDERING , be sure that your machine can accommodate designs of this size as we do not offer refunds for design software that is incorrectly purchased.

REFUNDS
Our designs are sold "as is". Due the nature of software, designs are not returnable or refundable unless the downloaded files are corrupted during delivery, or the CD is received in a damaged condition. Opened CD packages are not returnable/refundable.  We cannot give refunds for orders placed in error.

OTHER PRODUCTS
Our support is limited to our products only. Please refer any computer, sewing machine, software or third-party hardware issues to their respective manufacturers.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD A MACHINE EMBROIDERY DESIGN(S)

Downloading Machine Embroidery Files From Our Web Site

Downloading files or Design Packs that you have purchased is simple and intuitive if you follow these basic steps.   PLEASE NOTE:  Design Packs are 3 MB files and could take some time to download.  Please be patient.

1.  Place your order using our on-line shopping cart. Check out and remember to print your receipt.  Once your order has been  processed and your credit card has been approved, you will be directed to our Download Page:

2.  Click on the file that you have purchased (if purchasing multiple files, simply repeat this process) and a new dialog box will  appear.  VERY IMPORTANT. We recommend that you select "Save" and then select your computer's desktop.

3.  Your purchase has now been saved on your computer's desktop in the form of a "self-extracting Zip" file that is easily opened without any additional software. Double click on the "(file name).exe" icon (the actual file name will vary).  A dialog box like the one below will open.

       Agree to the terms and conditions by clicking "OK."

4.   A new dialog box will open up.  VERY IMPORTANT -- You will need to select the location on your computer where you would  like the stitch files folder to be placed.   CLICK THE "BROWSE" BUTTON and select the location or folder where you would like  to install the folder containing the stitch files.  If you are not sure, place them on the desktop.

5.   Next, select "Unzip" and a folder containing your stitch files will appear in the location that you have selected. Now, copy the  files for your machine format to your stitch files folder along with the color stop files and other information (if you have  selected your computer's Desktop).

6.   Finally, select "Close" and you are done.  We strongly recommend regularly backing up all files on your computer.

In the event that you are unable to locate the stitch files folder, follow the above steps again paying particular attention to Step #4.

You will also receive an e-mail that will provide you with an alternate means of obtaining your files.    Again, PLEASE NOTE that Design Packs are large files and can take come time to download depending on your internet connection speed.

If all else fails, and if for some reason your Windows™ PC is unable to open the .exe file, please e-mail us describing the problem, include your order number, tell us what you purchased and what machine file format you require and we will send them to you via e-mail. Please note that this could take a few days for us to get back to you in the event that we are out of the office on travel.

Calico Crossroads® is not able to provide support or assistance for third party software or hardware products including, but not limited to:

•  Magic Box™ or other file conversion devices 

•  Personal computers
•  Computer operating systems
