OOPS!

Although we strive to have error-free leaflets, we are only human and sometimes in our efforts to meet deadlines and such, we goof up! So this is the place where you will find any corrections/updates to patterns. Also, if you come across something that should be corrected and that we've missed, you could really help us out by letting us know as soon as possible so we can alert everyone else. Thanks!

AUTUMN BELLPULL
Between the time when I charted this pattern and when it came back from the printer, the symbol for DMC 3052 Med. Green changed somehow. Magic, I guess! It also says that I didn't proof that part well. At any rate, the font that was substituted is too large for the square and all of them fall slightly below the bottom of each square making for messy reading. Also the symbol is very close in appearance to the "S" used for DMC 840 Med. Brown. It is still readable, but very messy and not up to my standards. Also the backstitched dividing band under the second letter "U" (the one with the pumpkin) is one square too far to the right. On the chart, there should be two empty squares on either side of the band.

BLOOMIN' KAT
On the initial print run, under Materials Required, it should say "OR substitute DMC 3805 (Anchor® 62)--not 66. Second paragraph under Cross Stitch, it should say "or DMC 3805 Pink (not Red) (Anchor® 62)--not 66.  This will be fixed on future printings.

FRIENDSHIP
The fabric stock number for 28-ct. Lambswool from Wichelt Imports, Inc. should be 76-135 not 429-101.

FUREVER NEEDLEROLL
The bottom border of satin stitches (with beads) as well as the very bottom backstitched line (in 202HL #4 Aztec Gold braid) should be shifted down one square (or two fabric threads) so it is one square below the Queen stitch row exactly like the top border. It is shown too close to the Queen stitches. The size of the design now changes from 50w by 64h to 50w by 66h.
Also, the word "Furever" on the main chart should be shifted down one thread so that the top of the word is even with the satin stitch heart flowers to either side and the letters "R, E, V" are two threads above the satin stitch heart below it. Then correct the"Lettering Detail" chart on Page 2 by shifting the two satin stitch heart flowers to either side up one thread so the tops are even with the word "Furever."

HANGIN' OUT
In the Color Key, you are instructed to use three strands of 002 Gold #8 braid to stitch the star on the Christmas tree. This is incorrect. You should only use ONE strand of #8 braid BUT if you choose to substitute DMC gold floss #5282 instead, THEN you would use three strands.

HARMONY

On page 5, in the paragraph below the chart, it tells you to refer to page 7 for information on double running stitch.  That should say page 2--there is no page 7.

HERE FISHY, FISHY!
Under Materials Required for the DMC floss, it lists 322 blue. It is NOT required and should not be listed.

HOLLYDAY STITCHES
There seems to be several discrepancies between the Color Key and the Materials Required on this chart. The correct product numbers are as follows: Anchor 263 (DMC 3362), 101 Desdemona's Violets, 103 Verry Berry and Mill Hill Petite Beads Royal Plum 42012.

IN STITCHES

On some of these patterns, under "Materials Required" in upper right hand corner, it says to cut the fabric 6" wide by 14" high.  That is a mistake:  the fabric should be cut 16" wide by 14" high.

IRIS NEEDLECASE

The number for the Lt. Purple Delica bead was listed on the website and some of the earlier charts as 861, but should be 881. The website has now been corrected as well as all future charts.

Also on the earlier charts, the Magnifica conversion was not listed, although they were listed on the website. The Delica (Magnifica) conversion for this design is as follows: 034 (10091) Gold, 351 (10069) White, 374 (10040) Green, 864 (10055) Dk. Purple and 881 (10047) Lt. Purple.

KATS BY KELLY™ DESIGNS UPDATE
Many stitchers have encouraged us to include the title of each cat design on the stitched piece itself as much of their charm is attributed to their titles. So we have charted the titles of the first eight designs for you to add to your stitched piece. All other kat designs in the KATS BY KELLY™ series have the titles charted on the actual leaflet and are not included here. And most of these eight designs have the titles charted on any reprints.  This will just be for those original charts before a reprint.

LAZY PEOPLE
Under materials required on the front page, one of the Silk Mori colors was ommitted.  Add 0712 Very Light Pecan to the list.

MéLANGE
The chart neglects to inform you to use two strands of thread over two fabric threads.

MEOWY CHRISTMAS

In the Color Key, under the heading "Cross Stitches - 1 strand #8 braid", the symbol • says that the items to stitch with the gold braid are "kat and paw print." Obviously that is wrong. It should say "Garland."

MEOWY SHOWERS
Under Materials Required, it should say "OR substitute DMC 807 (Anchor® 168)--not 1039. Second paragraph under Cross Stitch, it should say "or DMC 807 Teal (not Red) (Anchor® 168)--not 1039.  This will be fixed on future printings.

ONE IS NOT ENOUGH

Directions for the Modified Maindenhair Stitch and Woven Star should be revised as follows:

Modified Maindenhair Stitch: Band 9-2 str. 0434 Med. Moss Green. Come up at 1and go down two threads below, leaving thread loose on top of fabric. Come up at 2, pull thread 1 tight. Go down 4 threads below 2, leaving thread loose on top of fabric. Come up at 3, etc. (See diagram).

Woven Star: Directions shown under Modified Maindenhair Stitch are actually those for the woven star, which are: Work: leg A-B; leg C-B; C-D going under A-B; E-D going under C-B and over A-B; leg E-A going over C-B and under C-D.

PATRIOTIC PUSSYCAT
On the original printing, under the Materials Required heading as well as under Cross Stitch (3 strands) heading, 611 DMC should read 311 Dark Blue.  It will be fixed on subsequent printings.

PURRFECT PITCH
On the original chart, the backstitch line to the left of the front paw hanging down to the keyboard was dropped down one square inadvertently. It should be one square above the keys and extends all the way across the piano keyboard going in between the front and back leg and continuing on the right side of the back leg. On the reprint leaflet, that error is corrected.

SEASONS OF THE HEART

On a few of the original chartpaks printed, the blackwork drawings and the padded satin heart drawing were incorrect. You will be able to tell if you have one of these incorrect charts by the typo on the color key for the Double Running Stitch for the leaves (second from the bottom). It says Golf Leaf instead of Gold Leaf. If so, please let us know and we will send you a corrected copy.

SERENITY
The chart has a couple minor errors in the border.  For a pdf of the corrected chart, please e-mail us at calxrds@aol.com.

Also, on page 5, in the paragraph below the chart, it tells you to refer to page 7 for information on double running stitch.  That should say page 2--there is no page 7.

SPRING BELLPULL
At the small flowers and vines near the bottom of the bellpull, the flower on the right is shown up one square too high. If you look where "initials" is written on the left, the flower near it lines up with the word, but on the right the flower is one square higher than the word "date." It should be dropped down one square and then the vine connecting it to the rest should be one square longer.

THE OTHER WHITE MEAT
The symbols on the BBQ sauce bottle are reversed. The cover photo is correct, but the symbols are backwards.

THINK SPRING!
The instructions for the large pink flower in the upper left hand corner were inadvertently ommitted from the chart. It should be stitched in satin stitch with 2 strands 3609. Also, if you wish to substitute DMC floss for the Needle Necessities Finian's Rainbow thread, the following colors can be used, although since it has such a wide color range, no one color is going to duplicate it. Try DMC 341, 402, 3609 and 3782.

The small purple satin stitch flower in the center of the design (with the Queen stitch center) should be stitched with 2 strands of DMC 210 (we neglected to indicate this on the chart).

On the cover under MATERIALS REQUIRED (THREADS), we list several colors of DMC floss that are not even used in this design-211, 341, 402 and 3782. You don't need these threads.

And lastly, under COLOR KEY "Other Stitches," the black dot symbol says French Knots (plural). There is only one French Knot in the center of the large pink flower.

THISTLES:

Needleroll: Which fibers to use for Bands 1, 3, 7 and 9 was left out of the instructions inadvertently. It has been corrected now, but some of the earlier charts will still be incomplete. Thanks to Diane Burnside in California for bringing this to our attention. Our apologies, please.

Use two strands of 141 Spanish Moss Needle Necessities Floss Overdyed to lay three lines from side to side (green lines on chart--Page 1 of 4 of Thistle Needleroll instructions); then couch them down with 1 strand Kreinik #4 very fine braid 002HL Gold Hi Lustre (gold lines on same chart).

WELCOME
Under Materials Required, the fabric should be listed at 24-ct., not 22-ct. The complete stock number for the Zweigart stitch band is #7273/359. Also in the written instructions for Area 2-Satin Stitch Blocks, is states "EXCEPT for center blocks which are 8 threads by 8 threads." It should say 6 threads by 8 threads.

WINTER BELLPULL

The diamond-shaped symbols that represent the 42010 ice petite seed beads on the letter "T" were inadvertently (of course) left off. Most of the leaflets have an insert pasted inside with a corrected letter "T," but leaflets sold before we discovered this error, will not have that correction. Download bead placement chart.

www.adobe.com.)

YULETIDE WISHES

The backstitching on Band 5 should be done with 1 strand 102 Vatican Gold #4 braid.
